India on high alert for Republic Day celebrations (Reuters)
Reuters - Troops stepped up patrols in many
parts of India on Saturday, especially in the restive northeast
and Kashmir, as the government prepared to host French
President Nicolas Sarkozy for its Republic Day celebrations.
